Brandon Temple began racing Legends at Southampton Motor Speedway in 2003 driving only a few races since they only raced Legends twice each month. After the 2004 season started SMS closed after only two races. Brandon and his Dad headed for Coastal Plains Raceway, a round-trip of 340 miles from Emporia, Virginia. Brandon has made Coastal Plains his home track since then. Brandon would like to move up from Legends since he really wants to race as a career. Hopefully, a team will give Brandon a test during 2008 in another division of racing. He still would like to run some Legend races, but he wants to get into a bigger race car or truck. Only time will tell for the 20 year old who had a great year of racing in 2007. For the third year straight year Brandon raced his way to a 2nd place finish in the Legends Championship points at CPR. In his rookie year at CPR Brandon finished 3rd in the Legends Division. In addition to his 2007 2nd place finish at CPR, Brandon was the top Pro Legends driver at CPR, Wake County Speedway, and Southern National Raceway Park. He also won the the 2007 Virginia Pro Championship topping all other Pro division drivers in total National INEX points in the state of Virginia. Brandon also claimed a 5th place at Concord Motorsports Park racing in only six races against some of the top Legends around the Charlotte area. When Brandon is not racing, he helps his day in the family landscape business around the southern Virginia area. Landon's Landscapes is a landscaping design and installation company. "I like getting paid for helping Dad, but I had rather hold a steering wheel than a shovel" says Brandon.
